Who Am I?
I’m the child of an immigrant and a veteran, an older brother, a student, a helper, and a friend. I was born in Europe but raised a Texan. I love shepherd’s pie, but I also love birria tacos. I really like animals, rock music, and Lady Gaga. I play Dungeons & Dragons on my weekends off. And I do my best to call my mom.
I’ve been told that I’m pretty laidback, but in a responsible way. I’ve also been told that I’m smart and artistic or something. It’s up to you if believe what others say, though.
What is my creative philosophy?
Nobody will know what’s in your head until you put pen to paper and show them.
Ever since I was little, I was intent on putting every idea I had to paper. I wrote stories and drew characters and creatures that existed in my head. To the point that I would have scattered notes in different journals and binders. Organization was never my strong suit, but my mind is an ever-flowing fountain of ideas. It is important to keep a record of your ideas and the things that inspire you.
But you know what's even more important?
Being able to communicate it all to the outside world. That's why I love art. From written stories to 3D Renderings. The ability to give something to a person and say, "this is what I think/feel/see.” It's the best feeling in the world to communicate a creative idea with another and hear them say, "Wonderful!"
